Ashley & Josh

Ashley & Josh's wedding was all about the bling! I loved the crystals hanging from the trees outside, and also from the ceiling inside. It was the most incredible decoration I've seen! Her shoes were no exception. Ashley glued each individual stone onto her shoes. Incredible! Right before the ceremony began, it was sprinkling. We were worried, but it stopped just in time and left a beautiful rainbow. Magic!

Tapas!!

So, I'm really behind on blogging! I am blogging backwards to catch up on everything I missed in the last couple of months.... In July, my husband and I went to visit his family in Germany and we took a side trip to Barcelona. It was wonderful to see his family after almost two years since our last visit. Spain was so beautiful. We saw so much incredible art including several of Gaudi's buildings, the Miro museum, and the Dali museum (so wonderfully eccentric and just plain cool)!

Darlene & Nick

I loved this location with the beautiful spiral staircases and views. Darlene wore purple embroidered tennis shoes for the reception and a U of A garter! Very cute. Congratulations, Darlene & Nick!

Shannon & Chris' engagement

Shannon, Chris, and I had a great time doing this shoot near the Tucson Museum of Art. They were both really easy going and nice to work with (and look how great they look). Check out Shannon's gorgeous hair! I'm looking forward to their November wedding, which will be held at the same place I got married almost 2 years ago! I may be biased, but I think they chose the best place in town :).

Cori & Jeremy

Cori's mom and I taught at the same high school, down the hall from each other, for several years. Cori is just as animated and sweet as her mom and I was so happy to be their photographer! Cori and Jeremy are a very sweet couple and totally adore each other. There were lots of laughs and tears during the ceremony and throughout the night. Congratulations Cori and Jeremy!!

Family Portraits - a gift for mom....

Rachel gave these portraits to her mom for her Birthday. What a thoughtful and meaningful gift! This was a very fun and close family and I was happy to photograph them together.

Kasandra & Ryan's Engagement 1940s style

I felt like I was in a time warp on Sunday when I photographed Kasandra and Ryan's engagement session. Their wedding (which we are SO excited for), will have a 1940s Hollywood Glam theme. Kasandra and Ryan looked like models who stepped out of a time machine! We had an absolute blast going all over downtown including infront of one of the Broadway Murals by artist Stephen Farley, titled "Windows to the Past Gateway to the Future." While there, we had a very serendipitous moment. A man in a pink 1930 Ford Model A drove by and we all waved our arms for him to stop. Amazingly, he did! Better yet, he allowed us to take photos on, in and around his car!! I changed the car color to red since that is Kasandra's wedding color. Thank you, Wade, for being so generous!
