Jackie and Dustin's Wedding

Jackie and Dustin had a beautiful wedding on Mother's Day.  They are a sweet couple and I wish them all the best in their new life together!

Chickens, dogs, and a 15 month old!

This was the second time I was fortunate enough to photograph this family and their adorable baby.  It is amazing how much a baby changes in just 3 months!  We chose their backyard for this shoot and included the chickens and dogs along with the rest of the family.  I love this type of shoot, at home, where the family can play and interact like they do everyday.  I get to find the extraordinary moments in the seemingly ordinary.  Hopefully, they can look back on these photos when their daughter is older and remember all the fun they had in their backyard.

3 Months Old!

I photographed this beautiful family at the same location where they were married.  Their sweet baby is just 3 months old and seemed to have a great time hanging out with Mom and Dad during the shoot.  

Look who's ONE!

A "Life as Art" photo shoot.  I spent the day with this family at some of their favorite places, including their backyard and their neighborhood park.  When they look at these photos, I hope they'll remember all of the fun times they spent together at those places.  None of these images are posed, just the family having fun together.  Look at that smile!! Such a happy baby!  He loves pushing his stroller around the backyard, playing on the swing, and going down the slide.  

The big 1!

Little Gabriel was not feeling well the day we did this shoot, but you would never know it with that smile!  This family of three was in town for just one day (used to live in Tucson), and we were lucky to be able to fit this shoot in before they had to fly off again.  You can absolutely see the love between them in these images.

Family in the Park

As you can see, everyone had a great time on this lovely afternoon at the park.  This sweet baby is one year old and we did this shoot right before her birthday party with her family.  Just look at that smile!  Is there anything better than a baby's smile and laugh?  I don't think so!

Back to blogging after hiatus!

Life has been busy the past year with the addition of our daughter whom we absolutely adore.  I'm getting the hang of my most important job, Momma, and am back into photography full swing again.  I'm loving photographing babies, kids, and families!  I especially love the more photo-journalistic sessions and am looking forward to doing more!
